Travelling in Hamburg

Hamburg is the second most populated city of Germany, behind Berlin. It is located north of Germany and has at its port as one of the main engines of its economy. Its port is the second largest in Europe, behind that of Rotterdam, Netherlands.

The history of Hamburg began in the year 880 when Charlemagne commanded to build the castle Hammaburg, from where guarding the area north of Rio Elba. The location of this castle is unknown.

Hamburg has the highest GNP of Germany and has a relatively high rate of employment. Apart from the port activity, there is a floor of assembly of Airbus, the builder of aircraft. The city of Hamburg also has an important cultural offer, which joined the economic activity make one of the best cities around the world to live.

Tourist Attractions and places of interest:
